Any company involved in industrial procurement can join — buyers sourcing materials, equipment or services, and suppliers or manufacturers who want to reach qualified demand. You register on behalf of your company and must be authorised to represent it.

Create your company profile and choose your role. Buyers submit requests with categories, specifications, quantities, location and delivery expectations. Suppliers publish products with the same structured details. Synd compares both sides and shows the strongest matches, and you can message the other party directly from the platform.

Is Synd free?

Synd is free to join and use during launch. Creating a company profile, publishing products, submitting requests, viewing matches and messaging are all included. If paid plans are introduced later, existing accounts will be notified in advance.

How do suppliers add products?

Suppliers open Products and add a product with its main category, subcategory, name, specifications, service locations, optional price and currency, and images. Published products immediately become eligible for matching, search and your public company profile.

How do buyers submit requests?

Buyers open Requests and submit a new request with the main category, subcategory, product name, specifications, quantity, delivery location, timeline and an optional budget in CAD or USD. The more precise the details, the more accurate the matches.

How are products matched?

Matching compares the request and the product on category and subcategory, product name and material, specifications, quantity and location or service area. Only genuinely relevant results are shown — Synd never pads the list, so a request may return fewer than five matches, or none, if nothing qualifies.

How do I contact a supplier?

Open a matched product or a supplier's company profile and choose Message Supplier or Message Company. Product enquiries open a conversation tied to that product, while company messages open a general conversation. All replies appear in your Inbox.

How do I become a verified company?

Complete your company profile with accurate business details, location, industry and logo, and keep your products or requests current. Companies with complete, accurate profiles are reviewed for verification as the network grows.

Can I edit or delete my products, requests, posts, and messages?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You have full control over the content your company publishes. Products, requests, company posts and your own messages can be edited or permanently deleted at any time, and every permanent delete asks for confirmation first.

Is my company information secure?

Yes. Access is protected by authenticated accounts and database-level security rules, so only you and your company can change your data. Company profiles, products, requests and posts are visible to other signed-in companies, while private conversations and attachments are visible only to the participants.
